Last game of the season

We spent some of Saturday morning at the soccer fields for the last game of Bilal's spring soccer season. It was a fun game, all the usual craziness of four and five year olds running around not always sure of what to do, but you could also see that they were applying some of the skills they have learned during practice.

Bilal played well, and even scored a couple of goals. One of his teammate's older brother even made a cool sign for the team.

It was nice to have Nana and Nani there, watching the game too.

After the game we all got shaved ice and then drove up to Oneonta to show Nana and Nani our clinic. Including the scenic rear side of it.

After we came home for a light lunch of sandwiches, and a quick rest, we went to Oak Mountain for MCBA's annual Mother's Day picnic. The weather was gorgeous and the slight breeze coming off the lake was perfect.
And that's not all! We stopped off at Coldstone Creamery for ice cream on the way home. Yum! And to make my Mother's Day weekend just right, Hamza came home this evening from Atlanta too! I just picked him up from the school. He is exhausted, and terribly hoarse, probably from yelling and screaming on all the roller coasters he enjoyed at Six Flags, but otherwise fine. Tomorrow he goes to Sunday School where he has his final exams, so no sleeping in for him, but I'm sure he'll catch up on sleep over the next few days.

So tonight we have a happy, full house. Loving the time we are spending with Abbu and Choti Ammi.
