Cheeto face

I've just discovered that Bilal loves Cheetos. Oh no, junk food!

This morning Vicki took Bilal to the library for their usual Storytime. Turns out the Easter Bunny was visiting today, and Bilal was a bit scared so they had to leave. As soon as he woke up from his nap this afternoon he told me the entire story of the bunny at the library that he didn't like. It was funny to hear him say "He had a pink nose and he was weally weally cweepy!" I think he learns all his lingo from Hamza.
SATs are in full swing at school. For Hamza 3 days down and 3 more to go. Safa has 4 more days of testing. Then back to the regular teaching schedule at school. Safa has her second math tournament this weekend, so we are grounded in Birmingham again. Maybe once this stormy weather passes we'll be able to spend some time outdoors. Right now there is a long line of thunderstorms about to cover the state.

Cheetos - yummy! I think they even have a name for the stuff that's left over on your fingers after you eat them!

Hopefully he has a better reaction to the Easter Bunny next time!

Cheetos, Elijah, too! It is the new love of his life. We let him have a few after dinner if he eats well. He always kicks his legs in excitement in anticipation. :)

Funny, you said, "SATs are in full swing.." I'm thinking, is there something wrong with Bilal's O2 sats?? I had to reread it a few times. It's been a long week.

I hope the weather allows you to get out a bit this weekend. It's not looking promising here. :(

I always thought the Easter Bunny was a little creepy too - I could never understand how he got into the house. I think Easter candy is the best candy of the year, though! (Mmm - Cadbury eggs!) It's raining here too - hope we both get better weather soon.

Awww, I love them too. They are so messy, but I guess the messier the better :) Grace is petrified of the Easter Bunny also (well any character dressed up for that matter). I hate you guys missed the air show. I will confess though the parking for the public was insane and the wait times for shuttles were like an hour and a half to two hours. If the kids were really really bummed we are having an air show here at the airforce base in Warner Robins, Georgia in May sometime. I know it is ALOT farther to go though.

Weally weally cweepy-- I love it!

I tended to avoid costumed characters / mascots /department store Santas until I was about thirty.

These days I say hi to and interact with them, mostly because I feel sorry for the poor employees whose job it is to walk around in those suits.
