Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all moms out there. These three are the best kids in the world (OK, I'm just a little bit biased!)

Mother's Day is just one more day to be thankful for the three wonderful children I have been blessed with. It is also just one more day that I think about my own mother, gone too soon. These poems do a good job of expressing some of the emotions I often experience.

A POEM FOR MY MOTHER.
I miss you so much, your laugh, your smile, your touch,
You always brightened my days with all the smiles you sent my way,
I need you as my angel to always be at my side.
I need you as my angel to give me peace of mind.
I like to think you near to me to know that you are there.
Even though I can not see you, I feel that you are near.
Please do not forget me mom,
for you are always in my heart, my thoughts and prayers.
I love you.

~~By Shari M. Blom.~~

Your mother is always with you...

She's the whisper of the leaves
as you walk down the street.

She's the smell of bleach
in your freshly laundered socks.

She's the cool hand on your brow
when you're not well.

Your mother lives inside your laughter.
She's crystallized in every tear drop.

She's the place you came from,
your first home...
She's the map you follow
with every step that you take.

She's your first love
and your first heart break...
and nothing on earth can separate you.

Not time, Not space...
Not even death...
will ever separate you
from your mother...

You carry her inside of you...

Hi Mina,

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! I wanted to stop by and thank you for being so supportive throughout Emma's recent heart surgery. It meant so much to me, seeing your encouraging notes! Thank you!!

I, too, was quite shocked by Jason's death. He seemed to be doing so well after going through so much with his last couple of valve replacements. It's very scary, and you said it best, "Life is fragile."

I hope that Bilal is doing well! He is such a cutie-pie!! :)

Take care, Mina! Have a great week!

Lots of Love & Heart Hugs,

Wendy (& Emma, too!)

Happy Mother's day to you! I loved the poem. :)

So sorry to hear about the young man with TOF who passed away. It is never fun hearing things like this. You have to think, though, that NONE of our lives are certain. Granted, our kids have a much higher risk of something happening, but that will just make us appreciate them more!

Happy Mother's Day...okay...I know I'm a day late, but better late than never, and, as I've said in my posting...I think everyday is Mother's Day, as we are so lucky to be mothers aren't we?

Love & Hugs,
Nicole Watson
